Hotel staff were all so nice and easy to communicate! My husband rented a bicycle and we were looking for a bike hotel, but this hotel has bike storage or you could bring your bike to the room (we had a big terrace!). They also arranged our car rental nearby the hotel (you pay at rental car office, not to the hotel, but they did that service for free!) and reserved a spot in the hotel private garage (underground, very safe and secure). At the end of our stay, we needed to return the car during the time rental car is not open, but we returned the car by parking at hotel garage (make sure to pay extra day of the parking if after check out), and returned the car key to the hotel. The hotel location was the perfect place if you are driving / cycling out of Palma, because cars can’t enter the old town. The hotel is in old town but it’s at the edge, very near Corte Ingles department shore and other shops, restaurants district in old town. It’s beside a beautiful river, and huge park is beside it. Tourist information behind famous Cathedral is very near, too. The hotel could be far from train station or bus terminal, but we visited on new year, and while driving around the island, I saw public bus only once, and many people are always at bus stops. We saw train rails, but never saw a train. So to me, if you plan to enjoy cycling (many cyclists choose this hotel), or drive out of Palma, while still want to enjoy the Palma’s old town, this is the best hotel. None of us tried spa though, because heated pool was half outdoor, and since temperature drop during night, water wasn’t that hot. But I saw some families with small children enjoying the heated pool. Room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and shampoo/conditioner/body soap they provided was amazing! Balcony was relaxing, and nespresso machine and inside the room table was big enough to enjoy light meals. Rooftop view is really so fantastic! Among all, I love the professionalism of staff.

The hotel is really lovely and the location is excellent for exploring Palma. The room was well equipped and the bathroom was nice and clean, Rituals toiletries which was really nice and the shower was amazing. We didn't eat so can't rate the food and it was winter when we went so didn't explore the pool although our room overlooked the pool and it looked clean and well kept. One evening it was raining and so the reception staff leant is an umbrella which was good, they were very helpful. My only small gripe was that our room smelled of stale smoke. I am quite sensitive to this and it did affect my sleep on the first night, I did mention it to the reception and he said it is not smoking and whilst sometimes people might ignore this and smoke on their balconies there is nothing he could do and advised me to have the balcony door open. We did have it open for thr rest of our stay and whilst the smell wasn't so strong, I did have a scratchy throat but that is perhaps my own sensitivity to cigarette smoke in fabrics etc. It didn't ruin my stay as I really didn't want to spend any time complaining or insisting on room changes because we didn't have long there and I didn't want to take away from our enjoyment but it was a little inconvenient hence my slightly lower score. I would however recommend this hotel and I would stay here again. Also, the city of Palma is amazing, I love it! If you're reading this review a while before you visit, I recommend booking el camino if you want to go there well in advance as we didn't get in, although we walked into it's sister restaurant el caminito which was beautiful and the food was delicious. Also, I highly recommend Kaizen (which I did book I'm advance and we did get in).

We had a fantastic few days staying at the Saratoga. The staff were lovely and made us so welcome. The rooms are attractive and the beds were very comfortable. The rooftop bar has incredible views of the cathedral on oneside and the port, castle and surrounding area on the other. Great location too. As our flight home was in the evening, we were able to store our luggage at reception and were able to book a complimentary room with two showers for half an hour later in the afternoon, which meant that we could still use the hotel pool and freshen up afterwards.

The location was great. Hotel is modern and the suite was great, very comfortable with a little balcony which we loved. Beds were comfortable and the bedroom was quiet at night. The bathroom was very nice with great shower. The staff were brilliant, welcoming and efficient. They even gave us champagne & chocolates which was a lovely surprise, as it was one of our party’s birthday.

Joan

The hotel location was very central and easily walkable to the Cathedral and the Marina. It was incredibly easy to get to using the A1 airport bus service and was ideally located for restaurants, bars and parks. The room was large and had a great wraparound balcony which was perfect for us. The spa/swimming pool courtyard area was peaceful, clean and very relaxing.
